The goal
A full-stack finance manager for expense tracking, bill splitting and visual reports, for individuals and for groups who share costs.
The challenge
Money needs to be exact. Splitting a bill sets off a chain of balance changes, the data has to stay secure, and the numbers have to be clear enough that people trust them.
How we solved it
Split maths that handles items, tax, tip and who took part, balances that update for every member in sync, owner, editor and viewer roles on shared ledgers, and Chart.js reports that read at a glance.
What we built
Split a bill in one pass
Add the items, set tax and tip, and choose who was there. Raqam works out each share and logs it to the right ledger, and every share adds up to the bill.
Shared money, clear roles
Trips, roommates and teams each get a ledger with live balances, and every member is an owner, editor or viewer.
Numbers first
A quiet dark interface where balances read in red or green in a second, and one primary action per screen.

Money that feels calm.
One title, one line of context and one primary action, with owner, editor and viewer badges on every shared ledger.
